Everyone has a story...

But the road to the present was far from easy. The tough times were the fire that fueled my success. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been raised by headstrong parents who understood the value of hard work. It’s thanks to their lessons, sacrifices, and unconditional love that I can call myself a first-generation Latina college graduate and corporate professional.

I pursued my higher education as an adult, while married with 3 children and working full-time. But in line with my fierce Spanish spirit, I wasn’t going to put my dreams on the backburner. So, I swiftly obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration focusing on Health Management from the University of Phoenix. I also hold a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, specializing in Human Resources Management, from Ashford University.

And while all these labels and titles are great, one of the most important things I’ve learned over the years is that you are more than the career accomplishments on your resume. A one-page summary of your education and skills has nothing to do with who you are and what you have to offer.

Today, my wish as a local business consultant is to witness as many entrepreneurs as possible chase their dreams and write a new narrative. Seats at C-Suite tables aren’t a given. They’re not even earned. They’re ready for the taking by those who refuse to wait.
